Since April 1966, there has been an open door for homeless men on the peninsula. Peninsula Rescue Mission (PRM) offers the provision of a ben with fresh linens, a shower, clean clothes, a hot meal, (This is where we come in), and a gospel ministry that is without charge to the recipient. Thousands upon thousands of needy men through Peninsula Rescue Mission's doors. Coastal volunteers every third Thursday night of the month by providing the food and cooking a hot meal for 35/50 men. You will get to have a part in serving dinner to these men to satisfy their hunger. We will report to the kitchen at PRM in downtown Newport News, serve up the plates and hand them out to the men. After they're finished up, we clean up the kitchen and dining room and then pray to close it out. This is a very fast and fun way to serve in our local mission outreach! The men at PRM always appreciate having a hot meal and smiling faces. Meet us at Peninsula Rescue Mission, which is at 3700 Huntington Ave. Newport News, VA 23607 at 5:00PM.
